Taxonomy
Pseudodiadema jessoni was named by Gregory (1896). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is St Ives brick pit (BM collection), which is in an Oxfordian offshore claystone in the Oxford Clay Formation of the United Kingdom.
It was recombined as Eosalenia jessoni by Smith (1995); it was recombined as Plesiodiadema jessoni by Smith (2015).
