Taxonomy
Hemipedina marchamensis was named by Wright (1855). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Marcham, near Abingdon, which is in an Oxfordian carbonate limestone in the Upper Calcareous Grit Formation of the United Kingdom.
It was recombined as Phymopedina marchamensis by Smith (2015).
