Taxonomy
Dianmeisaurus gracilis was named by Shang and Li (2015). It is not extant. Its type specimen is IVPP V 18630. Its type locality is Luoping area, upper member of Guanling Formation limestone (middle Anisian), which is in a Pelsonian marine limestone in the Guanling Formation of China.
