Taxonomy
Microhelodon eumerus was named by Broom (1931). It is not extant. Its type specimen is NHMUK R3581. Its type locality is Burgersdorp Area, which is in an Anisian terrestrial horizon in the Burgersdorp Formation of South Africa.
