Zamora et al. 2017 | A genus of Glyptocystitida with a proportionately tall and thin well-organized theca formed from three closed plate circlets (four basals, five infralaterals, and five laterals) (see Fig. 3). Oral surface comprising four ambulacra (B, C, D, E), with the ambulacrum A absent. Anus laterally positioned in CD interray, bordered by oral plates O1 and O7, two laterals (L1, L5) and one infralateral (IL5). Pectinirhombs absent but complex respiratory structures consisting of thin rounded areas bordered by thickened rings visible only on interior of thecal plates. |
