Aktiogavialis caribesi
Taxonomy
Aktiogavialis caribesi was named by Salas-Gismondi et al. (2019). Its type specimen is MCNC 95-72V, a partial skull (skull and partial mandible), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Pipeline Locality, Urumaco, which is in a Tortonian channel sandstone in the Urumaco Formation of Venezuela.
