Springerocystis longicollis
Taxonomy
Springerocystis longicollis was named by Bassler (1950). Its type specimen is USNM 93397 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Benbolt Formation, Knoxville, Tennessee, which is in a Caradoc deep subtidal ramp packstone/mudstone in the Benbolt Formation of Tennessee. It is the type species of Springerocystis.
