Aorograptus victoriae

Taxonomy
Bryograptus victoriae was named by Hall (1899) [Lectotype designated by Berry (1966, p. 421).]. Its type specimen is Nat. Mus. Victoria No. PI 4240 and is a 3D body fossil. It is the type species of Aorograptus.

It was recombined as Adelograptus victoriae by Berry (1966); it was recombined as Aorograptus victoriae by Williams and Stevens (1991).

S. H. Williams and K. K. Stevens 1991Pendent or declined rhabdosome with many stipes increasing from 06-08 mm wide proximally to a maximum T2 mm. Autothecae with concave ventral margin, flared aperture and with bithecae, thecal density increasing from 8 in 10 mm proximally to 10 in 10 mm distally.
