Dicynodontipus hildburghausensis
Taxonomy
Dicynodontipus hildburghausensis was named by Rühle von Lilienstern (1944). It is considered to be a form taxon. It is a trace fossil. Its type locality is Winzer Quarry, Hessberg, which is in an Olenekian/Anisian terrestrial sandstone/claystone in the Chirotheriensandstein Formation of Germany. It is the type species of Dicynodontipus.
