Paraglochiceras

Cephalopoda - Ammonitida - Oppeliidae

Taxonomy
Paraglochiceras was named by Collignon (1959) [Most authors attribute this name incorrectly to Collignon 1960. Enay incorrectly adds as a S.D. Paraglochiceras giraudoni Collignon, 1960 as the type species of the genus despite P. lauteri,/i> clearly being attributed so in Collignon 1959.]. Its type is Paraglochiceras lauteli.

It was considered a nomen nudum by Verma and Westermann (1973).

It was assigned to Glochiceratinae by Enay (2009).
