Portugalosuchus azenhae
Taxonomy
Portugalosuchus azenhae was named by Mateus et al. (2019). Its type specimen is ML1818, a partial skull (partial skull and mandible), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Beiraterra Quarry of Casais dos Carecos, which is in a Cenomanian coastal carbonate in the Tentúgal Formation of Portugal. It is the type species of Portugalosuchus.
