Eochonetes minerva
Taxonomy
Eochonetes minerva was named by Bauer and Stigall (2016) [= Thaerodonta cf. T. recedens Howe 1965 p. 649, pl. 81, figs. 13–17.]. Its type specimen is USNM 145043 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Section H-2 (Helms West Well). Bed 04. Hueco Mountains, west-facing escarpment, which is in a Maysvillian carbonate limestone in the Aleman Formation of Texas.
