Protocinctus mansillaensis
Taxonomy
Protocinctus mansillaensis was named by Rahman and Zamora (2009). Its type specimen is MPZ2004/170 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Borraca Creek, 3 km south-east of Purujosa village, which is in a Solvan offshore limestone/shale in the Mansilla Formation of Spain. It is the type species of Protocinctus.
