Nelegerocystis ivantzovi
Taxonomy
Nelegerocystis ivantzovi was named by Rozhnov (2006). Its type specimen is PIN, no. 4326/9 (Theca) and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Left bank of Lena Riva, 3 km downstream of Chekurovka, which is in an Amgan/Mayan carbonate limestone in the Mayaktakh Formation of the Russian Federation. It is the type species of Nelegerocystis.
