Malinky 2014Hyolith having elongate, slender, gently tapering conch; venter entirely flat or having centrally located, narrow, steep-sided longitudinal groove that is flat at bottom and terminates abruptly against the lateral edges of adjacent high areas. Sides of the groove appear to be parallel to each other rather than tapering to conform to the lateral margins of the conch.
