Neochonetes (Neochonetes) convexa
Taxonomy
Neochonetes convexa was named by Liao (1980). Its type specimen is NIGP 43530 and is a mold. Its type locality is Yanbeihou N15, Zhijin County, which is in a Wuchiapingian coastal siliciclastic in the Longtan Formation of China.
It was synonymized subjectively with Neochonetes (Sommeriella) strophomenoides by Shen et al. (2001); it was synonymized subjectively with Neochonetes (Huangichonetes) substrophomenoides by Zhang et al. (2013); it was recombined as Neochonetes (Neochonetes) convexa by He et al. (2019).
It was synonymized subjectively with Neochonetes (Sommeriella) strophomenoides by Shen et al. (2001); it was synonymized subjectively with Neochonetes (Huangichonetes) substrophomenoides by Zhang et al. (2013); it was recombined as Neochonetes (Neochonetes) convexa by He et al. (2019).
