Taxonomy
Eosemionotus minutus was named by López-Arbarello et al. (2019). Its type specimen is MCSN 8482, a skeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Valle di Sceltrich, which is in a Ladinian carbonate lime mudstone in the Meride Formation of Switzerland.
