Tessarolax incrustata
Taxonomy
Tessarolax incrustata was named by Anderson and Hanna (1935). Its type specimen is CAS 1430.02 (= CAS 4262) and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is CAS loc.1430, Johnson's ranch, midway between Rosario and Santa Catarina Landing, which is in a Campanian/Maastrichtian marine horizon in the Rosario Formation of Mexico.
