Anchura (Helicaulax) condoniana

Taxonomy
Anchura condoniana was named by Anderson (1902). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is CAS Loc. 445 - Phoenix, which is in a Turonian coastal siliciclastic in Oregon.

It was recombined as Drepanochilus condoniana by Anderson (1958); it was recombined as Anchura (Helicaulax) condoniana by Saul and Popenoe (1993), Haggart et al. (2005).

Popenoe 1993A Helicaulax having a short posterior digitation roughly parallel to the shell axis, adjacent to the spire at its base, but not otherwise adnate; sculpture dominantly axial; fifth and sixth abapical spiral cords forming the angulation and continuing onto extended outer lip; outer lip falcate but only slightly flanged posteriorly and ante- riorly along its lateral portion.
