Varens formosus
Taxonomy
Varens formosus was named by Saul and Popenoe (1993). Its type specimen is LACMIP 11579 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is CIT loc. 1065, Santa Ana Mountains, which is in a Turonian shoreface sandstone in the Ladd Formation of California. It is the type species of Varens.
