Waijiaoella elegans
Taxonomy
Waijiaoella elegans was named by Stiller and Chen (2006). Its type specimen is NIGPAS 137016 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Leidapo/Bangtoupo, Qingyan, which is in an Anisian open shallow subtidal mudstone/mixed carbonate-siliciclastic in the Qingyan Formation of China. It is the type species of Waijiaoella.
