Taxonomy
Hemimenion cuneatum was named by Guo (1988). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Shuitangzhai, Gejiu City, which is in an Anisian marine horizon in the Gejiu Formation of China. It is the type species of Hemimenion.
