It was recombined as Agasoma kernianum by Anderson (1905), Arnold (1908), Anderson (1908) and Arnold (1909); it was recombined as Ficus kernianum by Dall (1909) and Martin (1912); it was recombined as Trophosycon kernianum by English (1914); it was synonymized subjectively with Ficus (Trophosycon) oregonensis by Stewart (1927); it was recombined as Ficus (Trophosycon) kerniana by Addicott (1970).
