Melongena californica

Taxonomy
Melongena californica was named by Anderson and Martin (1914). Its type specimen is CAS 1753 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is CAS loc. 60, which is in a Miocene coastal horizon in the Temblor Formation of California.

It was recombined as Galeodes californicus by Hoots (1931).
