Taxonomy
Eulimella ochsneri was named by Anderson and Martin (1914). Its type specimen is CAS 138 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is CAS loc. 64, north of Barker's Ranch, which is in a Miocene coastal horizon in the Temblor Formation of California.
It was recombined as Pyramidella (Syrnola) ochsneri by Addicott (1970).
