| L. L. Bohach and E. K. Frampton 2015 | Borissjakoceras is a small, compressed ammonite with flat flanks. Like other members of the Binneyitidae, it has a nacreous shell with metallic lustre, weak ornamentation, and simple sutures with bifid to trifid lobes and a second lateral saddle that projects beyond the first lateral saddle (Wright et al. 1996). |
