Taxonomy
Grammatodon (Lamellelodon) gucuoensis was named by Yao (1994). It is not extant. Its type specimen is Institute of Geology, Chinese Academy of Geological Sciences, XG886-168. Its type locality is Gucuo Village, which is in a Cretaceous marine horizon in the Gucuo II Formation of China. It is the type species of Grammatodon (Lamellelodon).
