Tianshanopecten carboniferus
Taxonomy
Tianshanopecten carboniferus was named by Feng (1988). Its type specimen is China University of Geosciences, Wuhan, XG07414 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Qiajiagou, southern Junggar Basin, which is in a Pennsylvanian marine horizon in the Qijiagou Formation of China. It is the type species of Tianshanopecten.
