Taxonomy
Junggaroconcha inequicostata was named by Yang and Chen (1985). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Beishan Coal Pit, Qitai, which is in a Pennsylvanian marine horizon in the Shiqiantai Formation of China.
It was recombined as Endocostapecten inequicostata by Feng (1988).
