Taxonomy
Halobia (Enormihalobia) intercalaria was named by Yin and Gan (1978). Its type specimen is Geological Survey of Guizhou, GL060 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Erqiao, Guiyang, which is in a Carnian marine horizon in the Sanqiao Formation of China. It is the type species of Halobia (Enormihalobia).
