Bupecten cornutus
Taxonomy
Bupecten cornutus was named by Guo (1988). Its type specimen is Geological Museum of China, Beijing, IVy0699 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Dongguachong, Qiubei, which is in a Ladinian/Julian marine horizon in the Falang Formation of China. It is the type species of Bupecten.
