Taxonomy
Jishuiconcha circularis was named by Ding et al. (1982). Its type specimen is NIGPAS H1544 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Xidong, Jishui, which is in a Jurassic fluvial-lacustrine horizon in the Luoao Formation of China. It is the type species of Jishuiconcha.
