Taxonomy
Wulongiconcha yajiangensis was named by Liu (1984). Its type specimen is Chengdu Institute of Geology and Mineral Resources, bi2201 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Yajiang, Wulong, which is in a Jurassic fluvial-lacustrine horizon in the Ziliujing Formation of China. It is the type species of Wulongiconcha.
