Taxonomy
Lamprotula (Diconcavelamprotula) sichuanensis was named by Ma (1999). Its type specimen is NIGPAS 108566 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Haitangpu, Jiangyou, which is in a Bajocian fluvial-lacustrine horizon in the Shaximiao Formation of China. It is the type species of Lamprotula (Diconcavelamprotula).
