Taxonomy
Trigonioides (Wakinoa) antiqua was named by Gu and Ma (1976). It is not extant. Its type specimen is NIGPAS 26124. Its type locality is Pupeng, Xiangyun, which is in a Cretaceous fluvial-lacustrine horizon in the Gaofengsi Formation of China. It is the type species of Trigonioides (Wakinoa).
It was recombined as Eotrigonioides antiqua by Ma (1989).
