Taxonomy
Plicatounio (Enotrigonioides) alatus was named by Guo (1987). It is not extant. Its type specimen is Geological Museum of China, IVy0583. Its type locality is Wenwudashan, Mojiang, which is in a Cretaceous marine horizon in the Jingxing Formation of China. It is the type species of Plicatounio (Enotrigonioides).
