Taxonomy
Plicatounio (Acclinoplicatounio) nananensis was named by Ma and Huang (1979). It is not extant. Its type specimen is NIGPAS 45598. Its type locality is Nanan, Ningming, which is in a Cretaceous fluvial-lacustrine horizon in the Bali Formation of China. It is the type species of Plicatounio (Acclinoplicatounio).
