Palaeoneilo mundeni

Bivalvia - Nuculanida - Malletiidae

Taxonomy

Palaeoneilo mundeni was named by Fleming et al. (1954). It is not extant. Its type specimen is New Zealand Geological Survey, GS 5803. Its type locality is S52/501, boulder in Slaty Creek, Waiheke Valley, which is in a Carnian/Norian marine siltstone in New Zealand.

It was recombined as Yongshengia mundeni by Chen and Stiller (2008).
