Taxonomy
Lima twinensis was named by Durham (1944). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is UCMP A3694, which is in an Oligocene marine horizon in the Twin River Formation of Washington.
It was recombined as Acesta (Acesta) twinensis by Moore (1984).
