Taxonomy
Homalopoma umpquaensis domenginensis was named by Vokes (1939). Its type specimen is UCMP 15872 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is UCMP loc. 672, Parsons Peak, which is in a Ypresian marine sandstone in the Domengine Formation of California.
