Taxonomy
Atactocrinus wilmingtonensis was named by Weller (1916). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kankakee River near Wilmington, Fernvale Limestone, which is in a Richmondian marine limestone in the Fort Atkinson Formation of Illinois.
