primitive postion, radial facets plenary or very slightly peneplenary. Arms formed of pinnulate rectilinear to slightly cuneate brachials. Primibrachials one or two. A ray rarely atomous through complete length. Distal branching common. Tegmen slender, elongate, formed of plicate, wide, hexagonal plates in several columns with main rib formed of linearly coalesced central nodes. Stem pentagonal to pentalobate proximally, may become round distally, heteromorphic, may be very cirrate distally. |
