Patagopipa corsolinii
Taxonomy
Patagopipa corsolinii was named by Aranciaga Rolando et al. (2019). Its type specimen is MLG 2630, a skeleton (Nearly-complete skeleton), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Rio Pichileufu: Estancia Don Hipolito, which is in an Eocene fluvial-lacustrine tuff in the Huitrera Formation of Argentina. It is the type species of Patagopipa.
