Taxonomy
Grammocrinus lineatus was named by Eichwald (1860). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Orthoceratite limestone specimen, which is in a Dapingian carbonate limestone in the Volkhov Formation of the Russian Federation. It is the type species of Grammocrinus.
