Taxonomy
Brotulinarum siremboides was named by Nolf and Bajpai (1992). Its type specimen is IRSNB P 5939, an otolith, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Rato Nala bridge no. 241, which is in a Lutetian marine claystone in the Harudi Formation of India.
