Mollistephanus planulatus
Taxonomy
Docidoceras planulatum was named by Buckman (1921). Its type specimen is (BGS GSM32062, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Bradford Abbas, Fossil Bed (Buckman), which is in a Bajocian carbonate limestone in the Aston Limestone Formation of the United Kingdom.
It was recombined as Mollistephanus planulatus by Chandler and Dietze (2004).
