Mollistephanus mollis
Taxonomy
Mollistephanus mollis was named by Buckman (1922). Its type specimen is BGS GSM 47148, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Sandford Lane, near Sherborne, which is in a Bajocian carbonate limestone in the Inferior Oolite Formation of the United Kingdom. It is the type species of Mollistephanus.
