Thalamocrinus daoustae was named by Ausich and Cournoyer (2019). It is not extant. Its type specimen is ROMIP 54199. Its type locality is Jupiter River outcrops, Anticosti, which is in an Aeronian/Telychian marine horizon in Canada.
