Taxonomy
Deltostrigites deltotus was named by Buckman (1924). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Bradford Abbas, Fossil Bed (Buckman), which is in a Bajocian carbonate limestone in the Aston Limestone Formation of the United Kingdom. It is the type species of Praestrigites.
It was recombined as Praestrigites deltotus by Imlay (1973).
