Abbasites gardincola

Taxonomy
Stephanoceras gardincola was named by de Gregorio (1886). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Capo San Vigilio, which is in an Aalenian carbonate horizon in the Calcari Oolitici di San Vigilio Formation of Italy.

It was recombined as Ambersites gardincola by Lelièvre (1960); it was recombined as Abbasites (Ambersites) gardincola by Rulleau (2009); it was recombined as Abbasites gardincola by Dietze et al. (2010).
